WHAT COULD AMENDMENT 3 MEAN FOR FLORIDA PROPERTY TAXES?

 

An Informational Presentation by the Florida League of Cities

The City of Crescent City, Town of Welaka, and Town of Pomona Park invite you to join us for an informational Town Hall about Florida’s 2026 Constitutional Amendment 3, which will appear on the November 2026 General Election ballot.

The Florida League of Cities will provide an overview of the proposed amendment and discuss how it could affect property taxes, local government funding, city and town budgets, public services, and local decision-making.

Everyone is welcome! Residents, property owners, business owners, and community members are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and learn more about the proposed amendment before the November election.

A NOTE ABOUT THE PRESENTATION

This meeting is intended to provide information and education about the proposed amendment. The City of Crescent City, Town of Welaka, and Town of Pomona Park are not taking a position for or against Amendment 3. The presentation and materials are provided by the Florida League of Cities and represent information from the presenter.

One or more elected officials from the participating municipalities may also be present to attend the meeting, hear the presentation, and listen to questions and comments from the community.
