Planning & Zoning Commission

At the February 15, 2006 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, the P&Z Commission moved to recommend the draft guidelines and draft sign code to the City Commission for consideration and inclusion into the City's Land Development Code. At the June 8, 2006 regular City Commission meeting the City Commission approved Ordinance #06-03 adopting the Architectural and Site Standards, and approved Ordinance #06-04 adopting the revised Sign Code. These elements are now official requirements for development and re-development within the City. They will be included in the City's Land Development Code at the next codification.

If you have immediate questions or comments concerning the Architectural and Site Guidelines, please feel free to contact the City at (386) 698-2525.

The City's Planning and Zoning Commission meets on the third Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM in the City Hall Commission Chambers which is located at 3 N. Summit Street. These meetings are open to the public and you are invited to attend.

The Planning and Zoning Commission is comprised of five regular members. The P&Z Commission are volunteer citizens who are appointed by the Mayor and approved by City Commission.
