Emergency Alert Notice

City Hall will be closing to the public starting at 12:00 pm Wednesday and will reopen Monday at 8:00 am. Please try to stay off the roads during the storm. Should you have any trees down and blocking the roadway please report them to City Hall @ 386-698-2525. Please be extra cautious; powerlines wrapped in trees can be dangerous. If there are any downed powerlines report those to FPL FPL | Storm Center or 1-800-226-3545

The local shelter is located at Middleton-Burney Elementary School, 1020 Huntington Rd, Crescent City, FL 32112 and will open Tuesday at 6:00 pm. if you should need to go to the shelter, there are no cots, so you will need to bring what you will need.

There will be no trash pick-up for the remainder of the week. Please do not put any trash out by the road until Monday. 

The County Emergency Operations Center has opened up its call lines and the number is 386-329-1904. Additionally, The Putnam County Emergency Management Facebook Page www.facebook.com/PutnamCountyEM is updated multiple times a day with the latest information on Hurricane Ian. Should you have any special health-related needs please call Putnam County Health Department at 386-326-3200. 

The sand was delivered to the 308 site across the street from the Huntington Landfill at 3:00 pm today. You will need to bring your shovel and possibly bags should they run out. The site will be open during the day and will close at dusk.

It is recommended to take pictures of your house and belongings and to keep your insurance papers as well as other important papers including prescriptions with you.
