City of Crescent City – Fire Department Notice

 

Effective Dates:

Start: February 8, 2026

Review Date: March 1, 2026

 

Due to lack of rain, high winds, and extreme fire conditions, a Burn Ban is currently in effect for all areas within the Crescent City limits.

 

🚫 NO OUTSIDE BURNING ALLOWED 🚫

This includes yard debris, bonfires, burn barrels, and any open flames.

 

Exceptions:

Only with explicit approval from the Fire Chief or Assistant Fire Chief.

 

We are actively monitoring fire weather conditions and will update City Management and the public as needed. The burn ban may be extended or lifted depending on conditions at the time of review.
