UPDATE:
Mayor Michele Myers and Interim City Manager Michael Brillhart just met with FLP crews and Executives. FPL shared with them the Crescent City residents are currently without power.
However, they are working diligently to restore the main feeder line that goes into Crescent City, and they are committed to staying in Crescent City until everyone has been restored.
The City’s restoration has been a challenge based on the number of lines that are down. They are asking for everyone to please be patient during this process.
The Sheriff’s Office has lifted the curfew. However, due to the power outages in Crescent City they will be providing additional law enforcement during the evening hours. If you are out and about after dark please take all precaution and be safe. If you have a non-emergency crisis, please dial the sheriff’s office and 386-329-0800 or dial 911 if it is an emergency.
