City of Crescent City Natural Gas Department

Notice of Intent to Submit a Grant Application to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) for a Natural Gas Mitigation General Infrastructure Project

The City of Crescent City plans to apply to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) for a grant to be funded through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant – Mitigation program (CDBG-MIT). The application will be submitted no later than September 17, 2021, which is the grant application deadline.

Grant funds will be used for improvements to the City of Crescent City infrastructure to mitigate the risk of system failure due to impacts of rain, wind, and hurricanes. The planned improvements include addressing at risk areas of the main line, new regulator stations, a new odorizer and static suppression system and new service lines to serve two nursing homes.

The project cost (and the amount of funds that will be applied for) will not exceed $4,500,000.

Aviso de intención de presentar una solicitud de subvención al Departamento de Oportunidades Económicas de Florida (DEO) para un Proyecto de Infraestructura General de Mitigación de Gas Natural.

La Ciudad de Crescent City planea solicitar al Departamento de Oportunidades Económicas de Florida (DEO) una subvención que se financiará a través del Programa de Subvención en Bloque de Desarrollo Comunitario del Departamento de Vivienda y Desarrollo Urbano (HUD) de los Estados Unidos (CDBG-MIT). La solicitud se presentará a más tardar el 17 de septiembre de 2021, que es la fecha límite de solicitud de subvención.
